📝Note: Screenshots are only available on the Growth plan and up.

With Screenshots, you can map (associate) strings from your files to screenshots you upload to Transifex. When your translators work in the Editor, they can view these screenshots and better understand each string's meaning.

Uploading Screenshots Via Project's Settings

  1. From the Dashboard, pick the project you want to upload screenshots for.

  2. Click on Screenshots.

  3. Drag and drop one or more image files from your computer into the upload area, or hit the Browse Images button to select images from your computer.

  4. Once you've selected your file(s), you'll have the option to edit the name of the screenshot.

  5. Click Upload File when ready. If you’re uploading multiple screenshots, you’ll have to repeat this step a few times.

Uploading Screenshots via Web Editor

You can provide context by uploading screenshots directly from the Editor. In the context area, under the "Screenshots" section, you can drag and drop images or click "Browse images" to select them from your computer.

To map strings to the screenshot, hover over it and click the pencil icon. This action will open the screenshot in a new tab, allowing you to map the strings.

📝Note: You can also upload screenshots through our API to automate this process.
